It’s that time of year... Nationals week is here! 🌟

Please join us in cheering on our DanceSpace dancers as they head to OnPointDanceCompetition Nationals!

Tomorrow kicks off an exciting week with master classes, and competition begins Tuesday. Nationals was an optional event for our studio this year, so we’ll be bringing a select group of our incredible dancers with solos, duets, and a few small groups. While we may not be taking every routine, these dancers deserve every bit of your love and support!

We’ll be competing Tuesday through Friday, with our small groups hoping to earn a spot in Ultimate Victory on Saturday. Fingers crossed!

No matter what happens, we’d love to see our DanceSpace family come out Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Virginia Beach Convention Center to cheer on three of our elite dancers, Olivia, Elyse, and Suzanne, who earned invitations at our regional competition to perform in the Ultimate Victory Opening Number.

They’ll spend the week learning choreography and rehearsing for this incredible opportunity, and we can’t wait to watch them shine on stage.

Nationals is always one of the highlights of the season, filled with fun theme days, friendships, unforgettable memories, and amazing performances.

Good luck to all of our dancers! Dance your hearts out, make incredible memories, and know your entire DanceSpace family is cheering you on every step of the way. We can’t wait to see all you accomplish this week! ✨

Our Level 2/3 dancers got to spend some time with erin_bailey2 too!

During their workshop, Erin taught a fun pom sideline dance and our dancers had an absolute blast learning it. Check out this video to see them perform the routine first at a slower pace and then kick it into high gear with the full-speed version!

Great times with Erin, as always. We love giving our dancers opportunities to learn from successful Dancespace alumni and see where their dance journeys can take them.

What an incredible day at Dancespace!

Today our Level 4 and 5 dancers had the opportunity to learn from Dancespace alumna and Virginia Tech Hokie HighTechs Captain, erin_bailey2 . They worked hard, learned some amazing new combos, and had so much fun along the way!
