Some dancers grow up at Dancespace.

And some dancers, like become part of the heart of it.

For 14 years, we’ve had the privilege of watching this beautiful girl grow from a tiny dancer into an incredible young woman. From dance battles in hip hop class to unforgettable performances on stage, she has left her mark on our studio in the most special way.

Her kindness, work ethic, personality, talent, and love for her teammates have made her someone everyone looks up to. She brings joy into every room she walks into, and watching her grow through dance has been one of the greatest gifts.

While we are beyond excited to watch her head to .tech on a full academic scholarship (so deserved 👏), there’s a part of us that wishes we could freeze time just a little longer.

Dancespace won’t feel the same without her.

No matter where life takes you next, you will always have a home here. We love you endlessly and could not be more proud of the person you’ve become. ❤️

Reminder: dancers should arrive performance-ready in full hair, makeup, and costume.

Yesterday we re-sent the Recital Handbook and Recital Show Order to all families. These documents contain important recital details and answers to many common questions as we head into recital weekend.

Please note class schedule changes this week due to rehearsals:

• Thursday, May 28: Classes are canceled with listed exceptions due to the 3:30 PM show dress rehearsal
• Friday, May 29: Evening classes are canceled due to 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM show dress rehearsals

We are so excited to celebrate all of the hard work your dancers have put in this season. Showtime is almost here 💕

🇺🇸 Reminder: Dancespace will be closed for Memorial Day!

We’ll see everyone Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday for our final rehearsals before dress rehearsal on Friday and recital day on Saturday!

This day is the culmination of months of hard work, dedication, growth, and heart poured into every rehearsal, every class, and every dance. There is truly nothing we love more than teaching your children and watching them light up the stage.

From our tiniest tappers taking those adorable first steps… to powerful contemporary performances from our seniors that may just bring a tear to your eye… every number tells a story and every dancer has worked so hard to get here.

Recital day is our favorite day of the entire year because we get to celebrate these incredible dancers and finally share all of their beautiful performances with YOU.

✨ COSTUME WEEK IS HERE! ✨

One of our favorite weeks of the season has arrived! Please send your dancer to class this week in their dance costume so we can make sure everyone is recital ready.

Please also pack regular dance clothes in their dance bag just in case they’re needed during class.

We can’t wait to see our studios filled with sparkle, smiles, and recital excitement! 💖

Ballet Technique – Tuesdays 9:00–10:15 AM with Caitlin Henry

Contemporary Jazz + Functional Training – Wednesdays with Elizabeth Heely

⏰ 9:00–10:15 AM (Levels 4 & 5) | 10:15–11:30 AM (Levels 2 & 3)

Focus on turns, jumps, flexibility, floor work, strength, mobility, and injury prevention
