The Hyrdo Monster Shot has been producing this spring and early summer in the surf. A metal, lipless stick bait, the Hydro Monster Shot casts a mile and is effective on a straight retrieve or fished like a twitchbait—a great choice for bluefish or Spanish mackerel.

Cobia and black sea bass fishing have hit the ground running, as we approach June.

For cobia, we've got an assortment of Cobia Killer jigs. We've also put together a few ready-to-fish cobia/bull red combos mixing Penn and Shimano reels with Dark Matter, Wolf 77, and Shimano rods.

If you like jigging for black sea bass, we've got a fresh batch of great-looking jigs from Nomad, and we have some ready-to-fish Quantum combos rigged with Shimano Current Snipers on the combo rack.

Welp, he checked in with us last week while down in the Keys, continuing a decades-long tradition of chasing permit, bonefish, and tarpon. From the looks of things, he's not too bummed that he missed the initial push of cobia here in VA.
