What a season! With the close of the USA Volleyball Girls JNC, the region would like to recognize and congratulate 4 of our officials for successfully completing the requirements and passing their rating sessions to earn their Junior National Official rating.
They have all worked hard over the years to learn and become better officials.
Congratulations to Angela Williams, Jasmine Johnson, Jamie Bissmeyer and Jessi Bissmeyer. With Jasmine Johnson earning the Bronze Whistle as the top new Junior National Official!
Also would like to congratulate our neighbor region new JN, Kayla Brissett, really an ODR Official but moved out of region.

Congrats to all new Junior National Officials from all regions!

Celebrating our Region Officials Chair (head ref) 80th Birthday. He has been our Ref chair for over 20 years and a champion for Volleyball in Virginia for well over 30 years. We all don't reach 80 years of life, but Bob Kyle has.
If you see him, congratulate him. He is not on FB, and I'm sure I will be ratted out for posting this. (He dislikes FB and Social media)

The USA Volleyball Beach National Championship is returning to Virginia Beach in 2026! 🔥

Building on the largest Beach Nationals since 2019, next year will be bigger and better with new enhancements including Opens divisions moving to a best-of-three format.

No bid? No problem. This brand-new event welcomes all girls club teams ages 10-17, no qualification required. The creation of this event will allow for additional bids in each division for GJNC beginning in 2026.
