Modern dating has become a lot of things…

Performative.
Confusing.
Surface-level.
Emotionally disconnected.

So I created something different.

The Dating Mechanic Comics.

A series built around dating culture, emotional intelligence, and the conversations people are having privately but rarely say out loud publicly.

Because sometimes people don’t need another dating quote.

Sometimes they need perspective. Episode Sunday.

We live in a time where people expect unlimited access to one another and call it “transparency.”

But healthy privacy and secrecy are not the same thing.

Not everything needs to be performed publicly to be real.

Not everything needs to be explained to everybody to be honest.

Some things are simply personal.

Social media has blurred that line for a lot of people.

Let me say this in dating terms....

If you surround yourself with people who:

Complain about men
-Normalize chaos
-Entertain situationships
-Accept inconsistency
-Laugh off red flags

Eventually… you start clucking too. 🤷🏾‍♀️

Environment matters.

The conversations you sit in.
The standards your circle normalizes.
The energy you keep around you.

If your closest friends think bare minimum is acceptable, it becomes harder for you to expect more.

You can’t build a healthy relationship mindset in a room that feeds dysfunction.

This isn’t about cutting everyone off.
It’s about being intentional about influence.

Ask yourself:
Are the people around me helping me grow… or helping me stay comfortable?

Clarity first. Always.

What’s one mindset you had to unlearn because of your environment?

If you move that distraction out of your way, the love of your life can get to you. 😘
