Drinking enough water is one of the easiest things you can do to make major health improvements.

It regulates body temperature, lubricates joints, and aids in digesting food and absorbing nutrients.

Proper hydration also boosts brain function, flushes out waste, and helps prevent kidney stones.

I spent the last month away from my family to be part of Max’s fight camp and Saturday night he proved exactly why he’s worth that sacrifice.

It takes a great amount of humanity and humility to care for an opponent, especially one who hasn’t given equal respect.

Saturday night Max showed that he’s not only one of the best fighters to ever compete but also one of the best humans.

In a sport that rewards violence, being proficient at displaying it while capable of controlling it is special.

I’m beyond proud of Max Holloway for being such a legendary fighter and human.

Koa o Hawaiʻi. I mua, i mua a lanakila!

I’m proud to be on this side of the story.

On the side that need not explain himself.

On the side with a history of work, ethics, honor, family, and character.

It’s easy to support Max Holloway and to know him is to know a man whose legend doesn’t begin and end inside of the Octagon.

A man of God. A husband. A father. A friend. A son of ke Aupuni Hawaiʻi.

Let’s go my brother.

When the training becomes the mission, it gets real.

On the latest episode of Truth Serum Podcast with Tyler Minton I asked my guest, Navy SEAL Veteran Tony Lena if he remembers the moment it really hit him that things had gotten serious.

In high school I remember asking my football coach how to get bigger arms.

“Squat and Deadlift”, he said.

I’m pretty sure he was just trying to make us care more about being strong than impressing girls but, turns out it was an evidenced based recommendation.

You can learn a lot from poor leadership as long as you’re willing to pay attention.

As my latest guest and retired Navy SEAL Tony Lena discussed on Truth Serum Podcast with Tyler Minton leadership is a constantly evolving process where you take what you can from those in the role and improve other areas to form your own leadership style.

This episode is filled with valuable information on leadership from a man I consider to be the standard of leadership.

Glyphosate shows up in rain, water, and a lot of our staple foods. You won’t eliminate it, but these 6 habits can significantly cut your load over time.

1. Choose organic or non‑GMO grains and beans when you can (oats, wheat, soy, corn are often heavily sprayed).

2. Wash and, when practical, peel conventional fruits and veggies to reduce surface residues.

3. Prioritize cooking at home instead of ultra‑processed foods and fast food, which commonly use sprayed commodity crops.

4. Filter your drinking water (reverse osmosis or high‑quality carbon filtration) if you live near farms or golf courses.

5. Skip glyphosate‑based w**d killers on your lawn/garden; use mechanical w**ding or alternative products instead.

6. If possible, buy from or grow food with local farmers who don’t use glyphosate; ask how they manage w**ds.

On the latest episode of Truth Serum Podcast with Tyler Minton I discussed “cheat meals”.

Cheat meals can easily sabotage your progress.

You have to go in with a plan and that plan has to be centered around maintaining the habits that will drive long term results.

Make a plan.
Set limits.
Commit to control.
