First annual Halloween Costume Green White Scrimmage was a success with the white team taking the 9-5 win!

Sending a massive congrats to one of our assistant coaches from last season, Coach Leeming, for being drafted into TWO professional lacrosse leagues this past week! Coach Leeming was drafted 9th overall by the in the inaugural draft and 7th overall by the Philadelphia Mayhem in the draft yesterday.

Last week, we started a new challenge in our program. We’re challenging our players to log the reps they take outside of practice, with the ultimate challenge to reach 10,000 reps in the 19 weeks between now and the beginning of the season.

Each week, the player that logs the most reps will receive the hard hat, a symbol of their hard work and commitment. This week’s hard hat recipient is junior attackman , who logged 1,450 stick work reps last week! Keep up the good work Matt!

The boys are going to be looking GOOD this spring 🔥🔥

Happy Fourth of July!

It was great to meet with the legend himself, Coach Neil Duffy, to honor for being named All American and All Academic this season by !

Congratulations to all of the Cox graduates today, especially our guys! Picture above are 7 of our 8 seniors: left to right, Griffin Butt, Josh Provencher, Trent Evans, Brody Youngs, Ben Thomas, Beau Griffey, and Sam Long (not pictured is Conrad Lehmkuhler). I’m so proud of these guys for everything they’ve accomplished individually, and I know they’re all destined for great things in each path they pursue in the future.

Congratulations to Senior Attackman ! Griffin was named one of three USA Lacrosse] Academic All Americans and one of three USA Lacrosse] All Americans in the Tidewater Region! He is also the only player to be named both!

Griffin finished his Cox career this season as the program record holder for goals in a season (62) and points in a season (90). He also finished third in Cox history in career goals (109), assists (47), and points (156).

Griffin has worked incredibly hard on the lacrosse field and in the classroom to get where he has. He is the quintessential Student Athlete, and we’ll greatly miss him in our program. Congrats Griffin!
