We are a speed skating team composed of both inline and quad skaters who compete at the regional and national level under charters with USA Roller Sports. Effective July 2, 2023 we will be practicing out of Haygood Skating Center on Sunday mornings from 7:00AM to 10:00AM. It’s been a while since we posted but we’d like to take this time to thank everyone for the prayers and good vibes for our Jayden Kesler. He was involved in a bicycle accident on Monday while training for IDN. He will need several surgeries and will be out for a very long time and unfortunately will not get to compete at IDN this year but last night when we visited him, he told us all he wanted to do was go skating. He typed to us ‘lowkey i wanna go skating rn’.
Please continue to send prayers and good vibes to Jayden, Pop Pop, their family, his teammates and the doctors, nurses and surgeons who have been providing AMAZING around the clock care for him.
We know the road to recovery will be a long one but knowing he has the support of the speed skating community behind him will make the journey better. Again, thank you all for your continuous thoughts and prayers.

Well, fresh roll on is down at Haygood Skating Center. They will reopen Friday night for session. Thank you to all who came and helped with the process last night. What a lovely group of parents and skaters we have. Huge shout out to Jacob Anderson for making the trip and getting it done perfect 🤩

Our Story
We have a membership of 20+ skaters of all ages that practice weekly at the Greenbrier Family Skating Center in Chesapeake, Virginia. We are always looking for new skaters to join us. We have a great supervised, family friendly club!
Bring your skates (or you can borrow from the rink), a helmet (bike ones work fine), water bottle, and a “Never Give Up!” attitude!
Beginning Late July 2018, we are competing under the club name of Premier Racing.
History: We originally were HR Speed (for Hampton Roads Speed Team). Then
around 2015 we merged with the Rolling Warriors of Vinton and Bealeton rinks. After that we took in a local rink. Beginning July 2018, we have split from that local rink, which kept our name. So, we now have a new name Premier Racing.
We practice out of the Greenbrier Family Skating Rink on Tuesdays 6:30 - 8:00 PM, Saturdays 8:00 - 10:00 AM, and Sundays 8:00 - 10:00 AM (except from mid-August through October, it is 7:00 - 9:00 AM due to Special Olympics practices). Practices are rink schedules permitting (rink parties will cause our practice to be cancelled for that date/time). The skating rink address is 1409 Stephanie Way, Chesapeake, VA 23320. The rink is located behind Crossways Shopping Center.
