I want to speak to you directly regarding the situation unfolding in the broader jiu-jitsu community.

Over the past days, serious allegations have continued to emerge, including a public statement from a victim. After sitting with this carefully, I have made the decision to end our affiliation with Atos.

This is not something I do lightly. But out of an abundance of caution — and out of responsibility to you, our students, and the families who trust this academy — I believe this is the right step to protect the stability and integrity of our school.

What I can speak to with complete certainty is who we are and what I hold this academy to:

* All staff undergo background checks
* All coaches are CPR/AED certified and SafeSport trained
* Athlete safety, professionalism, and accountability are non-negotiable
* Ongoing staff education and awareness are part of our culture — something I take personally, rooted in my military experience and lifelong responsibility as a coach

Impact will remain a place where you and your family can train with confidence, respect, and safety.

This decision is about protecting our home community and holding our standards firm, regardless of what happens elsewhere in the sport.
