Well didn’t expect it to be this epic today with the conditions we had. FULL clouds and a STRONG west wind it wasn’t looking to promising. We pushed out in the afternoon and ended up getting 14 Cobia despite the conditions!

Few days ago was some WILD fishing. I always try to fish with my friends to enjoy / to some recon before it turns into full charter season. My boys & found more Cobia than I have potentially ever seen in May!

This day idk if we caught 20,25, or 30+ by 1 pm we came in because no one wanted to hook any more 😂. It is shaping up to be one of the most epic cobia bites for Va!

The fishing here in Virginia is still epic this May! Went out early this morning but the water was COLD. As the day went on the water warmed up and fish started popping up everywhere. Another awesome day seeing / catching tons of Cobia!

First Cobia trip of 2026 was about as good as you could ask for! Left the dock at 11 and were in fish within 5 min. Saw countless fish of all sizes and lost count of how many we hooked up to!

Fun day with ! Starting to see some good fish returning to VA started off with Mike shooting some sheepshead and ended with finding some big red schools on top cruising! Cobia will be showing up ANY day with this warm weather.

Another awesome afternoon / night trip! 2nd trip of the year loaded up with togs till sunset then great striper fishing after dark. A few smaller fish than our last trip but happy to see them in our area. Biggest fish being 38 inches but super fun on light gear!

EPIC First fishing trip of 2026!

Did a TON of work on the boat and needed to go out run it make sure everything was good. Can’t just “test run” a boat so we had to bring a few rods starting off with Tautog they were loaded up getting bites every time you touched the bottom instantly. Then went to my old school striper spot thinking it was going to be a bust. Ended up burning the stripers up which I haven’t seen in YEARS around here.

Looking like an insane start to the year can’t wait to see what May brings for the Cobia and Redfish.
