It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of a beloved LDC family member, Kathy Read.
For 40 years, Kathy was the heart and soul of Lynnhaven Dive Center - our dive goddess, a true legend, and the biggest mentor anyone could ask for. Scuba diving and LDC were her life. She spent decades exploring the world underwater and above, sharing her endless passion with thousands of people. To all of us, she wasn't just part of the shop. She was family, and she is the pinnacle of everything we do.
We take comfort in knowing she is now joining Big Mike and other members of our dive family who have passed before her on the most mysterious and wonderful dive of all time.
Words will never describe how much she meant to all of us, and how deeply she will be missed. The global dive community will mourn her alongside the countless friends she made around the world.
