Some people inspire with what they say.

Doug inspires by how he lives.

Since joining Stability in 2019, Doug has shown up with consistency, humility, and an incredible work ethic. Whether he’s training alongside friends at the gym or preparing for the biggest competition in Masters CrossFit, he reminds us that age is never a limit—it’s just another number.

This month, Doug will represent Stability CrossFit on one of the biggest stages in our sport as he competes in the CrossFit Games in the 70+ division. We couldn’t be more proud.

When asked what he loves most about Stability, his answer was simple:

“I love the people I work out with every day.”

His advice to new members is just as straightforward:

“Show up consistently, trust the methodology, and trust the coaches to get you fit.”

And one fun fact? Long before CrossFit, Doug was riding his bike more than five miles from Kings Grant to the beach—with his surfboard under his arm—before he was even old enough to drive. 🌊🏄‍♂️

Doug, thank you for representing what Stability is all about. Your dedication motivates all of us, and we’ll be cheering you on every step of the way at the CrossFit Games!

Member Spotlight: Andrea Tanner

Some members join a gym.

Others help build its foundation.

Andrea has been part of the Stability family since 2013, and for more than a decade she’s shown what consistency really looks like…not perfection, not PRs every day, but continuing to show up through life’s busy seasons, injuries, challenges, and victories.

Originally from Rome, NY and working as a Controller/CPA, Andrea has always brought the same steady, dependable presence to our community that she brings to everything she does.

When asked what she loves most about Stability, her answer wasn’t about workouts. It was about the friendships she’s built and the coaches who have helped keep her moving, adapting, and progressing along the way.

Her advice to new members says it all:

“It’s more than just a place to work out. The members and coaches support each other, show up for one another, and make it fun to come back.”

We’re grateful for the example Andrea has set over the years and for the positivity, consistency, and friendship she brings to our community.

And in case you were wondering… she doesn’t have a middle name. 😊
