Water Safety Tip: Always remove pool toys after swim time.
Toys left in or around the water can attract curious kids back to the pool when no oneโs watchingโcreating a serious drowning risk. A quick cleanup helps prevent accidents and keeps your pool area safe.

As we honor the brave men and women who have served our country, let us also remember to stay safe while enjoying the water this weekend.
Memorial Day officially kicks off the summer season. Please practice responsible water safety habits such as wearing U.S Coast Guard approved life jackets whenever boating, on docks and in or around open water , never swimming alone, and designating an undistracted water watcher to supervise children at all times.
Remember to use the 5 Layers of Protection:
1. Barriers and alarms
2. Supervision
3. Water Competency
4. Life Jackets
5. Emergency Preparation
Letโs honor our heroes ๐บ๐ธ by making water safety a top priority.

May is National Water Safety Month. Water Safety Tip of the day: Remove pool toys after swimming. Toys can entice children to enter the pool unsupervised, increasing the risk of accidental falls and drowning.
In our swim lessons, we integrate water safety in every lesson, where children ask for permission before entering the water for pool toys. Swim lessons play a vital role in creating a safer environment with reinforcement of important water habits.

Yesโdrowning prevention is serious.
Yesโwe need parents to understand the risks.
But fear alone is not a safety plan.
At Aquatica, we believe children should learn to respect waterโฆ not fear it.
Because fear freezes.
Panic creates poor decisions.
And children who are taught to fear water often struggle to build the calm confidence they need when real aquatic problem-solving matters most.
We are not here to create water-fearful kids.
We are here to create Water Smart Kidsโข ๐
Children who can:
โ understand risk
โ stay calm under pressure
โ make safer choices
โ respond instead of panic
โ build confidence through real skills
โ safely enjoy pools, beaches, rivers, and family water moments
There is a big difference between:
โStay away from water.โ and โLearn how to move safely around water.โ
That difference changes lives.
Water safety should never be built on panic.
It should be built on:
๐ education
๐ supervision
๐ aquatic literacy
๐ consistency
๐ confidence
๐ family habits that last for life
Because the goal is not to make children afraid of water.
The goal is to teach them how to live safely around it.
At Aquatica, we teach preparation over panic.
Skills over shortcuts.
Confidence over fear.
Because safer children become stronger families.
๐ฌ Do you think fear helps children stay safer around waterโor does confidence teach better?
Letโs talk ๐
