Condolence Announcement 🕊️
We are deeply saddened to share the heartbreaking news of the sudden passing of Robert Cendali on May 15, 2026. Robert was the beloved son of Mr. Richard Cendali, President of the International Rope Skipping Organization.
To lose a life so full of promise at the young age of 34 is a profound tragedy. The entire global rope skipping community stands in solidarity with Mr. Cendali and his family during this time of immense grief.
Our thoughts, prayers, and deepest condolences go out to the Cendali family. May his soul rest in peace. 🙏✨

In light of the current tensions in the Middle East and beyond, our thoughts are with the rope skippers, coaches, and families in Dubai, Iran, Israel, the USA, and all affected regions. The Indian Rope Skipping Federation (IRSF) serves as a pivotal National Sports Federation dedicated to the growth and professionalisation of jump rope throughout the country. As an Official Collaborator of the Sports Authority of India (SAI)—the apex body under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India—the IRSF plays a vital role in executing major national initiatives like the Fit India Movement, including the high-profile "Sundays on Cycle" and the Fit India Carnival. Championing the spirit of "Sports for All," the federation is also an official collaborator of the Paralympic Committee of India (PCI), working specifically to promote inclusive sports and providing para-athletes with opportunities to excel in rope skipping. Through consistent engagement with major government departments and educational organisations, the IRSF continues to transform rope skipping from a grassroots activity into a competitive, mainstream sport that fosters health and excellence across all sections of Indian society.
