My favorite exercise for upper body has always been a dumbbell or barbell pullover.
The pullover is an exercise that is performed with either a dumbbell or a barbell. Pullovers can be made to affect either the chest or the back depending on how wide the grip is and the position of the shoulders. @ Virginia Beach, Virginia
Hot day at sled dogs. Training upper body and core. My entire journey of training has been a constant progress. I’ve had to start over many times... it’s okay to start over. Never forget where you came from and never compare your current state to where you used to be. Things change, the world evolves- it’s okay to have set backs just don’t let the set back cause you to quit.

How to do Dumbbell Fly:
•Start by lying down on a flat bench. Hold a dumbbell in each hand, resting the weight on the top of your thighs ...
•Lift the dumbbells one at at time. Hold the dumbbells in front of you, shoulder width apart ...
•Bend your elbows slightly and lower your arms at both sides using a wide arc ...
•Bring your arms back to the starting position, using the same arc of motion as you did to lower the weights.
Muscles worked:
Chest, Shoulders and Triceps
Trapezius
Biceps
Latissimus Dorsi
Also, this exercise engages 👉Glutes, Quadriceps and Hamstrings when done with correct form.

Hope everyone had a blessed memorial weekend. It’s Tuesday, and my body is sore for doing the Murph yesterday. Contemplating a workout today... but I also know the importance of stretching and recovery.

Barbell pull overs are one of my favorite exercise and are done almost every time I do chest.
Your set up is going to be backwards from the typical bench press and I scoot my bench way under. Think of a skull crusher with a dumbbell over- the barbell makes this movement much more challenging - try it and let me me know.

Make everyday your training! Sure, maybe you’ve had to alter a few things, fill up your milk jugs with dirt and sand. Or find some big rocks around the neighborhood to pick up- the only thing that matters is the fact you’re doing something. It’s where the hungriest rise. Leave all the excuses packed far away and still meet their training.
