Shop is Closed for the Holiday!
We're closed today to celebrate the 14th annual (or something like that) pertNear 20 mountain bike race. If you haven't signed up for this one yet, get on out to the park. Registration opens at 9:00. Kid's race at 10:15 and big kid Race/Ride at 11.
The sun is shining so bright in the woods are calling. See you there.

Bunch of people put in a bunch of hours today doing some final prep for the pertNear20 2026 tomorrow. It rained last night and it rained off and on today. Then the winds blew really strong and the sun cracked out. If you're wondering what the conditions will be like, we promise our trails will be amazing tomorrow. Couple of before and afters always make things more exciting. Let's get a record turnout for this one.

It's ON!
Lots going on tomorrow? Of course. It's a very busy community of folks that get stuff done. This is another one of those things. This one marks our 20th year of bringing friends, family and community out to Sidie Hollow to volunteer their love and energy towards the amazing, shared use trail network that Vernon Trails broke ground on 20 years ago. This year is very exciting. We're going to start working on signage implementation. We will also be tackling miles and miles of trail that needs some tender love and general maintenance. Bring work gloves, w**d wackers and leaf blowers if you have them. Loppers and rakes can work as well. Plus there will be all the tools that the VT Trail Crew will be bringing. Meeting at the lower pavilion at 10:00 a.m. and working till 4:00. Come out for as much or as little as you feel. Every set of hands helps.

We're calling it.
SidieFest it's going to get postponed. We'll do it on Saturday,October 3rd. This will be only two short weeks before the pertNear 20, so we're really leaning in on the community and hoping y'all can come out and help us.
