One thing I wish we could bring back is the normalcy of not being connected.
It required you to develop yourself and envelop yourself in the present tasks.
It required you to view the world through your own eyes, not the filter….but authentic eyes.
The world is experiencing shortage in a majority of “skills” so much that businesses are turning to automation and people are chasing dependance.
If there is any hope to this world, it lies in the ability to be human, not machine.
Our strength lies in our boundless capabilities to use our bodies and minds…. Not in our ability to waste them….
Yet the more we fall victim to our socials, abundance of technology and our need for instant gratification, the less we challenge ourselves to improve…
One thing about life, is it is to be lived….
So I challenge you all to go out and LIVE this weekend and evermore after….

♨️The Warm Up Matters ♨️
It’s crazy to think that in this day and age, this is still a hot topic in fitness.
It’s not debatable, and it’s not a foreign idea….but walk your way into any big box gym and you’ll see it happen daily.🤦♂️
Warming up may be the missing link to your success…and lack of warming up may be the hidden trigger to your pain.💯
Here are 3 reasons you should always warm up:
1️⃣- Helps you reduce the chance of injury.
Warming up wakes up dormant muscles and improves various range of motions which allows your body to function more fluidly while relieve pressure on problem areas.
2️⃣- Prepares your body to perform better.
By elevating your internal body temperature, activating your musculature, and promoting the release of adrenaline and endorphins warming up elevates your focus and drive to perform.
3️⃣- improves your movement capabilities.
By warming up properly we are able to create more efficient movement patterns. With a well rounded warm up we prime our body to move better by way of mobility (range of motion) and activation drills mixed with performance of various movement patterns.

A majority of my training is done with one or two kettlebells and my body weight.
To be a busy professional, means to prioritize your health so you can perform your best….in all aspects of life.
This does not mean you need sacrifice your way of life but rather improve upon it….

I remember once in my health and fitness career many many moons ago coffee was demonized.
It was a “dehydrator” and nobody seemed to like it without all the sugar….this leads to my point, this post is an advocate for coffee….not sugar water.
This post is not an excuse for you to go get that venti PSL, but rather encouragement to seek understanding so as to improve your habits.
Coffee has never been your “issue”, in fact coffee has quite the list of possible and proven benefits.
So let go of that guilt and enjoy that coffee, consider it a boost to your quality of life.
