You want to know what I've loved to see most over this past year? girls have been not only learning how to skate, they have been watching us volunteers closely on how to teach.....and now? They are helping each other. Girls skate more, and face their fears more when they skate with other women and girls. Seeing them lift each other up? Priceless.
Love seeing kids encouraging and helping each other! We could all learn from the kids ππ
What matters most in a child's development, they say, is not how much information we can stuff into her brain in the first few years. What matters, instead, is whether we are able to help her develop a very different set of qualities, a list that includes persistence, self-control, curiosity, conscientiousness, grit and self-confidence.

We have visited a lot of public parks lately including the new one at Vista & sad to see the vandalism, trash & anti-social behavior - it is time the silent majority of decent people called out the cowards who vandalize, the people who throw their trash everywhere & the ones who donβt care how they act when kids or other skaters are around - we are blessed in SoCal with so many parks - ones people elsewhere would love - so time for us all to stand up & pushback - parks should be a positive place for all to skate
When kids can do what adults can't. Love it! Celebrate them!

This is what happens when several non profits and people from the community, come together to create change for kids! Over 50 backpacks and shoes were given out to every kid at the amazing Lifeline program in Oceanside..

What an amazing collaboration between (along with donating shoes) and and generously distributed backpacks filled with after school supplies and shared an anti bullying message of love, kindness, compassion and acceptance..
