VBA Taipans - Vista CA

Nice warm-up tournament for our VBA Taipans 13u squad coming off our extended Cooperstown break. #1 seed and runners up in the Gold Bracket Championship game.
12u Black were the Champions in the Silver Bracket kicking off a nice start to their season, playing some solid baseball. Back to work this week at practice.

Well, that didn't take long! VBA Taipans 13u player Luis Diaz Jr. smashed his first VBA Taipans Homerun! This kid has ridiculous power!

The VBA Taipans 10u squad had been asking Coach Bobby to bring his Dodgers World Series ring to practice so they could see it. There's nothing like a little bit of pre practice motivation to get the kids smashing balls at BP!

Quite a few people have contacted me as they didn't get their orders in on time for the team store. We just opened it back up 12 noon tomorrow (Tuesday, Aug 25th) is the final deadline.
