In everything you do, you're building physical and mental habits. Every situation you encounter is an opportunity to build a habit and train your body how you want it to respond.
Your goal should be to perform every rep the exact same...with flawless technique. Picking the barbell up and putting it away after your workout is your last opportunity that day to train your body and your mind HOW you want it to pick the barbell up. Don't waste it!
How you handle and manage any situation, challenge or experience in your life is probably how you handle all of them. In every situation, life is asking us a question, and our actions are the answer. Our job is simply to answer well.

Consistency is the key to success in everything we do. Maintaining consistency in anything over a long enough timeline is how to build habits, and 𝐡𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞.
It doesn't matter what you are trying to get better at; if you only do the work when you're motivated, then you'll never be consistent enough to build the habits that will help you reach your goals.

Get 1 percent better each day for one year, and you'll end up thirty-seven times better. Get 1 percent worse each day for one year, and you'll decline nearly to zero.
Reaching your goals is about having the discipline to commit to what is important instead of merely saying something is important to you. 𝐈𝐭'𝐬 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲.
But remember, reaching a goal is just an event. The reps are what can make the event happen. Focus only on the reps, build good habits, and you'll get results.
