Kick off our fall season with us in Killeen! Championship rings, POG coins, homerun chains, MVP award, championship banners, and the Play of the Weekend belt are all up for grabs.

We’ve fallen behind at the end of the summer on announcing our Play of the Weekend winners — but better late than never! Here are our last 3!

Berto Memorial Classic — CTX Premier Baseball 7U pulls off a triple play, 8-6-5! Centerfielder CJ Moreno makes the catch and fires it to shortstop Ryan Rhea at second, who throws it to Kash Bilton at third to complete the triple play!

The Berto Memorial Classic was more than a tournament — it was a tribute to a man who meant so much to this baseball community. We are overwhelmed by the love and support shown in his honor.

To everyone who donated items for the Silent Auction — thank you for your generosity. Every item contributed helped make this event special and helped honor Berto’s memory in a meaningful way.

To our sponsors — thank you for standing behind this event and the reason for it. Your support made the weekend possible, and we couldn’t do what we did without you.

A very special thank you to McGregor Youth Baseball & Softball Association for allowing us to use their fields at no cost. Your fields were in top-notch shape as always, and your generosity did not go unnoticed. We are so grateful for your support.

To the volunteers who gave their time to make the weekend happen — none of this is possible without you. Your hard work behind the scenes did not go unnoticed, and we are so grateful.

And to every team that stepped onto the field to play in Berto’s honor — thank you. Your presence, your effort, and your respect for what this weekend represented meant the world to us and to everyone who loved him.

As a small way to show our appreciation, every team that participated in the Berto Memorial Classic will receive free entry into any and all Worm Burner Tournaments events from September 2026 through September 2027.

It’s the least we can do for a baseball/softball community that showed up in such a big way. Thank you for honoring Berto with us — his impact on this game, and on all of us, will never be forgotten.
