When we chose the name Yoga8, it wasn’t by accident.
The 8 limbs of yoga provide a roadmap for living with greater awareness, purpose, and peace. While the physical postures are a beautiful and important part of the practice, they are only one piece of a much larger system.
At Yoga8, we’re passionate about sharing yoga as it was intended: a holistic practice that supports the body, mind, breath, relationships, and spirit.

Chakras can feel intimidating, confusing, or a little too “out there” for some people. But at their core, they offer a framework for understanding the relationship between our body, emotions, thoughts, and experiences.
Whether you approach them from a spiritual perspective, a psychological perspective, or simply as a tool for self-reflection, they can provide meaningful insight into where you may be thriving and where you may need support.

Yoga is so much more than stretching, sweating, or mastering poses.
A true yoga practice engages the physical body, breath body, subtle body, and emotional/nervous system body. While movement is an important part of yoga, it’s only one piece of the experience.
When we practice yoga, we’re not just exercising. We’re learning how to breathe, regulate, connect, notice, and be present.
That’s what makes yoga different from a standard workout. ✨
