So… what exactly IS Cultivate? ❤️

Cultivate Dance Collaborative is a dance studio in Waconia, MN built around movement, creativity, connection, and helping dancers grow into exactly who they are.

We offer dance education for dancers of all ages and experience levels — from those taking their very first class to dancers looking for more advanced training and performance opportunities.

But Cultivate is about more than learning steps.

It’s a place to build confidence. Take creative risks. Discover your individual movement voice. Work hard. Make friends. Perform. Grow. And find a community where you belong.

We believe there isn’t just one way to be a dancer — and there isn’t just one path through dance. 🤍

Whether dance becomes a lifelong passion, a future career, or simply something your dancer LOVES doing each week, we want their time at Cultivate to mean something.

Our 2026–27 season starts TODAY, and we couldn’t be more excited to fill the studio with movement, creativity, connection, and our incredible Cultivate community again.

There’s still time to join us! We have classes for all ages, styles, and levels — from recreational dancers to those looking for more intensive training and performance opportunities.

With Waconia’s Music in the Streets happening right outside our doors tomorrow night, we thought… why not open ours too?!

Stop into Cultivate Dance Collaborative anytime from 5:00–7:00 PM and come see what we’re all about! Studio owner Maddie will be there to welcome you in, show you around, answer your questions, help with class placement, and even get you registered for the upcoming season!

What an unforgettable experience for our Continuum 5 dancers. 🤍

This weekend, our Continuum 5 students had the incredible opportunity to perform their recital piece at Dances at the Lakes.

Experiences like these remind our dancers that dance extends far beyond the walls of the studio. They had the chance to perform in a professional outdoor setting, connect with a vibrant community of artists, and experience the joy of sharing their artistry with new audiences.

We are so grateful to Dances at the Lakes (KASM Dance Collective ) for providing this opportunity and for helping ignite an even deeper love for dance in these young artists. We couldn’t be prouder of the way they represented Cultivate—with confidence, artistry, and heart.

Here’s to many more opportunities to grow, perform, and inspire. 🤍

☀️ Summer is more than a break—it’s an opportunity.

While the school year is filled with performances, rehearsals, and busy schedules, summer offers something different: the chance to slow down, focus on the fundamentals, and invest in your technique.

Watching our dancers in ballet this summer has been so rewarding. You can already see them growing stronger, becoming more confident, and refining the little details that make such a big difference. Every plié, tendu, and port de bras is building the foundation for the dancer they’re becoming.

We’re so proud of the dancers who have chosen to continue training this summer. Their commitment today will show in everything they do tomorrow. 🤍
