It was a spectacular day for Hollis Hubinek and Ramsman Equestrian LLC’s Korsakov de Bellerose! 🏆💙

Hollis and Oscar swept the older 3’3” Small Junior Hunter division today, taking home the win in both over fences classes and the under saddle! They scored an impressive 87 in their second round and first round of the Classic. ⭐️

We couldn’t be more proud of this pair and the way they continue to shine together. Congratulations, Hollis, and thank you for all the hard work that goes into making days like this happen! 💙🏆🐴 And thanks, as always, to the amazing team who keeps Oscar looking and feeling his best 💙

One of the hardest things to learn over fences is that sometimes, the best thing you can do is… wait.
Not pull. Not pick. Not manufacture a distance six strides away.

Just keep the rhythm, keep the balance, and let the jump come to you.

When riders start hunting for a distance, the canter changes. We get ahead of the horse, start making unnecessary adjustments, and suddenly a perfectly good jump becomes complicated.

A good distance usually comes from a good canter.
Ride the pace. Keep the horse straight. Support with your leg. Maintain the balance. Stay patient and allow the distance to show itself.
That doesn’t mean riding passively. It means trusting the canter you created instead of trying to fix every stride on the way to the fence.

The more you chase the “perfect” distance, the more likely you are to lose the rhythm, balance and straightness that would have created it in the first place. Sometimes the best ride is the one where you do less, stay committed to the canter, and give your horse the space to jump out of it.

The goal isn’t to manufacture a distance. It’s to create a canter that enables the horse to jump well out of the distance that shows up. 🐎

Responsibilities include:
• Feeding and daily horse care
• Stall cleaning and barn upkeep
• Grooming, tacking, and bathing horses
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional barn environment

The ideal candidate:
• Has previous horse experience and is comfortable handling horses independently
• Is dependable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in their work
• Works well as part of a team
• Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Is able to work in all weather conditions and perform physical labor

This is a great opportunity to work in a professional hunter/jumper program that values exceptional horse care, horsemanship and teamwork.
