Another successful Ohio State Alumni Cruise is in the books. On the last night we gave this commemorative print of my original 12 x 18" paintings of each location to the 150 Buckeyes in our group (graphically designed by my artist friend Dianne Stucky). What an exciting night with the Ohio State Alumni last week who helped us celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary with 93 new friends. Unbeknownst to them they helped me launch my travel series of paintings as Ohio State presented this little keepsake gift commemorating our cruise of the Mediterranean Sea to each of the attendees. As you can see from the paintings it was a trip of a lifetime from Barcelona Spain to Athens Greece.
Thank you to my artist friend Dianne Stucky who took my originals and graphically presented them for this special event. More paintings to come. "Scandinavian Bliss" is next.

This is one of my favorite photos, off the beaten path (and admittedly I stepped over the chain keeping me out) in Portofino, Italy. I've looked extensively and have seen very few pictures internationally from this wonderful angle. I think I got lucky.

THE original Ohio State Collage now has a permanent home at THE Ohio State University Alumni Gallery. Talk about an ego boost it will actually have a security alarm on it, which I told them I was happy they didn't just put a sign on it saying "Free to a good home!" Lol
Side note, it will hang next to another Sigma Chi alumni and original Hall of Fame cartoonist Milton Caniff's Gallery. Two Sigma Chi's permanently displayed just feet from each other. What a humbling honor.
