Thursday, October 29, 2026 Announcements:
Juniors and Seniors, you may be eligible to take a dual credit course this spring. Check your email for more information about dual credit classes and the upcoming meeting on Thursday, October 29 during SRB in the theater.
Dual means two, so a dual credit course counts for credit and GPA in two places- your high school transcript and your college transcript.
Juniors- To be eligible for dual credit this spring, juniors need to meet one of the following criteria:
GPA of 3.25 or higher
An ACT score of at least 24
Be in the top β
of their class
Seniors- To be eligible for dual credit this spring, seniors need to meet one of the following criteria:
GPA of 3.5 or higher
An ACT score of at least 21
Be in the top Β½ of their class
Keep in mind that this is a college class. There is no ICU. More information will be provided during our dual credit meeting on Thursday, October 29 during SRB. The window to register for dual credit classes for the 2027 Spring semester opens on Sunday, November 1. High school homework room is available Monday-Thursday 3:30-4:30 in the study hall classroom. Stop in if you need extra help or extra time to complete an assignment!
High School Dual Credit and Advanced Placement courses are a great way to get ahead in secondary education. Check with your school representative or high school principal to see what opportunities are available to you.
