Today, we celebrate the art, the passion, the hard work, and the joy that bring us all together through dance. From the youngest dancers taking their first steps to our advanced students pursuing their dreams, we are so grateful to be part of a community that continues to inspire, grow, and move together. 🩰

Ballet 1 is where young dancers begin building the skills, confidence, and love of movement that can stay with them for years to come. At Taylor Academy of Dance, we believe those first ballet experiences should be joyful, encouraging, and thoughtfully taught. ✨

Our Ballet 1 program gives young dancers the opportunity to:
♡ Develop coordination, balance, musicality, and body awareness
♡ Learn foundational ballet technique in an age-appropriate environment
♡ Build confidence, focus, and classroom skills
♡ Experience the joy and discipline of dance
♡ Grow alongside caring teachers who genuinely invest in their students

Our 2026 Nutcracker auditions were nothing short of AMAZING. 🩰🎄

We welcomed an incredible group of dancers through our doors—new faces, returning dancers, familiar faces we haven’t seen in a while, and so much excitement for the season ahead.

The energy in the studio was undeniable, and we are still celebrating the turnout, enthusiasm, and talent we saw throughout the day. ❤️

This is exactly how we wanted to begin our 17th year of Nutcracker, and we could not be more excited for what’s ahead.

The cast may be coming together, but the magic has already begun. ✨

To every dancer who auditioned, every family who supported them, and every volunteer who helped make the day possible: thank you. We are SO excited to see where this season takes us. 🎄

✨ A NEW LOOK FOR A NEW SEASON! ✨

While our dancers were enjoying their summer, we were busy giving the studio a little bit of love! 🛠️🩰

From new flooring and fresh paint to updated light fixtures, furniture, cubbies, and storage, our studio has been completely refreshed and ready for another year of dance. 🤍

Every update was made with our dancers in mind — creating a space that feels welcoming, organized, beautiful, and inspiring from the moment they walk through the door.

We are so grateful to our amazing team and community who came together to make all of these changes possible!

We’re so excited to welcome our students — new and returning — into their refreshed home away from home! ✨

Our first week of classes is officially in the books, and we couldn’t be happier to see our studios filled with dancers again! 🩰💖

It has been so wonderful welcoming back returning students and getting to know so many new faces joining our dance family this season.🎉

From familiar routines to brand-new first steps, there has been so much excitement in the studios this week — and we’re just getting started!💕

Classes continue this weekend, so we’re looking forward to another weekend of dancing. And, of course, we’re counting down to Jill M. Taylor Dance Company’s Nutcracker auditions this Saturday, September 12! 🎄✨

From telling her story through dance to stepping into the magic of Christmas Eve, playing Clara is a role that gives a dancer the chance to truly become a character and bring the story to life onstage. 🩰✨
