⚾ SKLL PARENTS — WE NEED YOU! ⚾

Our South Kingstown Little League Annual Meeting is coming up, and we really need our parents and volunteers to attend.

📍 VFW Building (Upstairs)
116 High Street, South Kingstown

This isn’t just a Board meeting. This is your Little League. It’s an opportunity to hear what’s happening, have a voice in the league, and help shape where SKLL goes next year.

Most importantly, we need a quorum of at least 40 eligible members to conduct official business. If we don’t have enough people attend, we may not be able to conduct the Annual Meeting and complete the business necessary to prepare the league for next year.

You don’t have to be a coach or Board member to care about where SKLL is headed. If your kids play in this league, we want you involved.

Please give us an hour of your time and come out on September 23.

Our kids. Our league. Our future. ⚾

Today we take a moment to remember the lives lost, but also to remember the heroes that ran toward the danger.

Apparently winning the game wasn’t enough… they had to tackle the coach too.

But seriously, this is what Little League is all about. When the kids get a win and their first reaction is to run over and celebrate with their coach and teammates, that’s a double win in our book.

The wins and losses will come and go, but seeing them have this much fun together and making memories like this is what makes coaching worth it.

We will take this kind of postgame celebration anytime.

The girls were recognized by the Town Council today at their meeting by formal Proclamation which was read aloud by the council president.
