Ended up finishing the Bassmaster College Series National Championship in 95th place.

We had 13.01 with 5 fish on day 1 and 4.20 with 2 fish on day 2. We changed plans on day 2 and swung for the fences in hopes to get in the top 12 cut; it didn’t pan out, but that’s part of the risk!

It was a fun week and we’d like to thank all our families and sponsors for allowing us to travel to the other side of the country to fish.

Well…we weren’t exactly sure why God allowed us to win the Bassmaster College Series tournament on Kerr Reservoir in April, but we do now.

This is Levi, our new Brother in Christ. Levi and a few of his buddies came over to get a few free packs of FaithCast Lures and then we were able to share with them the meaning of that brand name and even got to share the Gospel! It was easy to see God working in Levi while we were talking. He was listening and answering all the questions and when we asked, he wanted to give his life to Christ!

God may not have it in His will for us to catch a single fish in the tournament we’re fishing tomorrow and at this point were perfectly okay with that. I know without a doubt God opened impossible doors for this exact moment to take place and it was worth every dollar and hour spent, and more, just to see Levi’s life forever changed.

Y’all be praying for Levi and pray that God would move in his friends lives!

Made it up Saturday! Fishing was a little rough for us yesterday, but we made up for it some today!

Josiah caught a new PB Smallmouth weighing 5.47 lbs! We also caught some nice largemouth on a FaithCast Lures frog.

Now it’s time to knock out some school work, college is back in session 🤦🏼‍♂️.

Tournament starts Thursday — stay tuned! 🎣

In route to Bassmaster College Series National Championship on Leech Lake in Walker, Minnesota.

Long drive ahead but we’re looking forward to cooler weather and hopefully some awesome fishing.

We WON Bassmaster College Series on Kerr Reservoir!

Not really sure where to begin… from the tough practice days to a broken trolling motor, it felt like everything was against us.

Then everything changed around lunchtime on Day 1. We went from 0 keepers to a 5-fish limit for 18 lbs in less than an hour. We came back on Day 2 and did the exact same thing in the same stretch.

This tournament was nothing short of a work of God. With as many boats as were around us, we truly believe He opened those largemouths just for us—and then closed them back.

After 5 years of competitive fishing, we’re beyond blessed to finally take home a win.
We can’t thank our sponsors enough, and a special thank you to our parents and families for supporting us every step of the way.

Made it to Kerr Reservoir in Oklahoma Saturday night. It’s been a tough week of scouting, but we managed to make the right changes midday today and brought in an 18 lb bag—putting us in 6th place after Day 1 of the Bassmaster College Series

Well, second day didn’t go quite as we wanted it to, finished up the 2 day Bass Pro Shops Collegiate Bass Fishing Series tournament in the top 30%. Glad to be home and looking forward to the next one.
