First time racing at Honeybrook this year in our new divisions. The mechanic (Pop) had the wrong gearing for the heat races. We were better in the features. Finished p5 in senior Honda and p7 in Lt 160. Great people. Great racing.

Race Day recap: Senior Honda in the heat race started p1, was staying close to the front with tough competition, tagged the wall and lost momentum finishing p5. The feature was an incredible race, three-wide action, multiple passes and crossovers. At ten laps in Kristopher got caught up in a 4 car wreck, he flipped and spun around and landed upright. Driver uninjured, car only cosmetic damage. He immediately gave the thumbs up that he was alright and then asked about any damage to his car. The race continued to be exciting and he drove back up to p4 and held off the competition to finish p4. The Light 160 field was a 3 car race and feature only. He started and finished p3 but he is really settling in to this more powerful car and stayed on the lead lap. Thanks goes out to his competitors for racing him clean. Congratulations to all the drivers who went to victory lane!

July 17, 2026 racing recap: Friday Night Lights unfavorable pill picks by the driver put him p4 out of 5 in heat race 1 for senior Honda and p4 out of 4 in Light 160. But Kristopher came to race and finished p3 in the Senior Honda putting him p5 for the feature. The team is still developing the Light 160 and weren’t as competitive as we needed to be, he finished heat p4 putting him p4 in the feature. Both races were challenging with talented drivers. He avoided trouble and finished p4 in both races. Congratulations to the winners as we all work on our racecraft.
