From June 8 through June 26, three miles of Green Dot road on the WDFW-managed Wenas Wildlife Area in Yakima County will be closed for road maintenance. The closure areas include McCabe Road from the intersection with North Wenas Road to the intersection of Lower Ridge Road, as well as the first mile of Lower Ridge Road from the intersection with McCabe Road heading west. This closure ensures safety of both road work crews and the public during the project.

Registration is open for the Oregon State Sporting Clays Championship, which for 2026 is a split event. The Main Event will be hosted by Tri-County Gun Club, but the Prelim, Super Sporting and all sub-gauge events will happen at Mid-Valley Clays & Shooting School.
