Since 1898 Families have enjoyed spending time together at Wallingford Country Club. Today daughter Linda honored her parents Bill and Elle Ohr with the annual flower bed that she plants overlooking the putting green. Every day members enjoy the beautiful surroundings thanks to Linda and her family.

What used to be a straight forward hole is now one of the most strategic shot choices on the course. The redesigned 12th at Wallingford Country Club demands decision the moment you step onto the tee. Play an iron and the bunkers left and right suddenly come into play. Pull a big club and you better stripe it - anything offline brings trouble on either side. Your second shot doesn’t get any easier. Bunkers guard both flanks of the green, and going for it means trying to land a ball that doesn’t want to stay put. Come up short and you’re staring at a slick downhill putt with plenty of break. The 12th is no longer a breather. It’s the hole of choices - and every choice matters!!

After a cool day on the course the heat was turned up in the Bistro. Lots of fun and great job by Kevin , Ian and Michael running the Opening Day Tournament. Looking forward to an awesome season at WCC
