This past weekend, both Haris and Pratham reached the finals of the Greco state tournament in their respective weight classes. They have been grinding this off-season! Excited to see them carry over their success from the winter.

Proud weekend for our Broncos in Fresno!

Pratham Sharma, Symone Jewell, Lexi Rotenberry, and Harris Nurakhunov represented Contra Costa County with the Mount Diablo Wrestling Association All-Area Team, competing against some of the best wrestlers in California in both freestyle and Greco-Roman (the two Olympic styles of wrestling).

We’re proud of the way they competed and carried themselves over two tough days of competition.

Honored to have our wrestling program recognized at the Crimson and Gold Gala this year. It was a special night celebrating the hard work, dedication, and accomplishments of so many incredible Bronco athletes across all sports.

We’re proud to have had several athletes and members of our program nominated and recognized, along with team honors that reflect the commitment this group has shown all season long. Wrestling is a sport that demands discipline, resilience, and sacrifice, and it’s rewarding to see our athletes celebrated for the work they put in every day.

Congratulations to all of our nominees and award recipients, and congratulations as well to all of the other athletes, teams, coaches, and programs recognized throughout the night. It was truly a great year to be a Bronco athlete.

Congratulations to Pratham on his signing day! We’re excited to see what the future holds for him in Rochester.

Thanks to our volunteers this morning who helped keep runners at the Devil Mountain 10K safe. Very happy to see so many Northgate wrestlers, parents, siblings, and friends give back to our community.

Congratulations to Symone Jewell for finishing 4th in the U17 World Team Trials at the Women’s National Championships in Spokane, Washington!

Symone wrestled in 73kg weight class and went 4-2 over the weekend against some of the best talent in the country.

Such an amazing accomplishment!!

Turns out they own more than just wrestling shoes. Junior prom looked good on this crew.
