St. Mary's CYO Basketball - Walnut Creek, CA

Welcome to St. Mary's CYO Basketball Program at the St. Mary's School in Walnut Creek, California.

Our program runs Oct-Feb every year and teams are created by the grade your son/daughter will enter in the Fall year. The Grade Level is 2nd-8th grade for boys/girls only leagues.

What to expect:
- 10 League games (Locations within 15 mile radius)
- 2 Practices a week (Most Teams)
- 3 Game Tournament (Thanksgiving or Christmas)

Player Eligibility for St. Mary's CYO Team - Must reside in St. Mary's Parish boundaries:
Registration Begins Aug. 14th, 2023 - Sept. 15th, 2023
Fee: $350 (Uniform is an additional expense)

FAQ:

1. What size ball does my child need?

2nd grade boys/girls - 27.5'' indoor basketball
All girls 3rd grade and up: Play with a 28.5'' indoor size basketball
3rd, 4th, 5th Boys: Play with a 28.5'' indoor size basketball
6th, 7th, 8th Boys: Play with a regulation size basketball
*If there is no grip on the basketball, replace it. Indoor only is preferred but if your child will also use it outside, then please select an indoor/outdoor capable ball.

2. What color jersey do we wear for the game?
Home team shall wear WHITE, Away team shall wear BLUE
