Creek Baseball Player of the Week: Week 10
Joey Haggerty
Red Sox (Peanuts)
Springfield Montessori
“Joey Haggerty is this week’s Player of the Week for the Red Sox (Peanuts Division)! It has been an absolute joy watching Joey learn the game of T-ball this season, especially seeing his versatility as a switch-hitter from both the right and left sides of the plate.
He brings incredible energy to the field and is always so excited to be at practices and games. Joey is eager to try every single position, always giving 100% to the task at hand. Beyond his skill and effort, Joey is a fantastic teammate who loves sharing the ball and cheering on his fellow Red Sox players.
The future is incredibly bright for Joey in baseball. Congratulations on being named Player of the Week!”

Ellie Holper
Pink Rattlesnakes (AA)

“Ellie stepped up huge to help the Pink Rattlesnakes win the AA Championship on Wednesday, going 3 for 3 from the plate with two triples and a double. She had multiple putouts on defense and pitched 2 solid innings.”

Creek Softball Player of the Week: Week 9
Natalia Fogli
Stingers (Majors)
WCI
“Natalia has been on an offensive tear the past couple of weeks! In the past 5 games she’s hit 4 triples and a home run! The home run was the farthest hit ball I’ve ever seen in my 5 years of coaching; if Castle Rock had a fence it would have been over it! Additionally she’s been a defensive superstar, stopping hard hit balls at 3rd and making several fantastic catches in the outfield. She has a great attitude and is always eager to listen and learn. The most amazing part? This is essentially her rookie year! She last played softball in 2019 as a kindergartener! Welcome back to softball Natalia, you belong in this sport!”

Creek Baseball Player of the Week: Week 9
Jack O’Neill
Giants (AAA)
Valle Verde Elementary
“Jack led the Giants pitching staff over the final six games of the season with 12 strikeouts, while allowing just two hits and two walks in five innings on the mound. He notched a base hit in both playoff games including an RBI-double. His ability to build build rapport with pitchers as the team’s primary catcher, willingness to help the team in whatever way possible, and exemplary attitude helped his teammates tremendously.”
~Scott Chisholm, Giants AAA Head Coach
