The Track and Field world lost a great coaching legend today. Hall of Fame Coach Bob Fraley of Fresno State was a pioneer in promoting the sport. Known world wide for what he did for the pole vault, he also touched the lives of thousands of athletes and students during his teaching and coaching career. Fraley's impact included directing the countless track meets including the Fresno Relays. He also founded and directed the Run for the Dream Indoor Meet, "Clovis Street Vault"/NAPVA Pole Vault Championships and the National Pole Vault Summit.

Coach Fraley, a member of the Mt SAC Relays Hall of Fame, and Mt. SAC had extremely close ties throughout the decades of his coaching career. The track & field program and the Mt. SAC Athletic Special Events sends our deepest heart felt condolences to his family and many friends.

Bob Fraley accomplished what he set out to do in life... Make an impact on the sport of track & field, on his community and on the thousands of people he touched throughout the world.

Rest in peace Coach Bob Fraley.
