Coach A.J “The Beast” Stephens has joined the Team White Mamba family as our President of Basketball Operations & General Manager of Business development. Stephens will spearhead our basketball operations and events and play a major role with supporting our business development. Stephens has over 15 years of coaching experience from middle school to the collegiate level. In 2021, Stephens purchased an ABA “American Basketball Association” franchise, which later became the Worcester Majors. He served as the team’s President & General Manager before selling the franchise for another opportunity.

Stephens Co-Founder Beast ‘Em Basketball Training Academy, an organization which teaches life lessons through the game of basketball that included; year-round AAU, seasonal camps/clinics, individual training, mentorships, academic support, little leagues and college recruitment support in 2016. Beast ‘Em Basketball was rebranded in 2025 into Beast ‘Em Sports that focuses mainly on camps/clinics for all sports.

Prior to joining Team White Mamba, Stephens held a similar role within another organization before stepping away from his 10 year educational career in leadership positions.

Besides having a business background, coaching and being one of New England’s top basketball camp directors, Stephens played collegiately at Curry College. His 2012-2013 team went 21-8 overall and 15-3 in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC). Curry won both the regular-season and conference tournament titles. The 21 overall wins and 15 CCC wins are both school records. The team went on to appear in the NCAA Tournament. Stephens finished the season #1 in the conference in rebounds, #3 in the conference in points, #5 in the conference in FG%, #1 in the conference in double-doubles and receiving All-Conference Honors.
