Great news kids! The 🔥🔥🔥 start didn’t end with the Reilly Tournament!

Sharon hosted their 17th Annual Fathers Day tournament this weekend for divisions 9-12. Sundays Championship games were as follows:

9U:
Walpole v Norton

10U:
Walpole v Parkway

11U:
Walpole v Newton

12U:
Walpole v Medfield

I’m happy to report it was a clean sweep as Walpole went 4-0 in Championship play. There are rumors this was the first time in program history all four teams took home the trophy.

Don’t take my word for it though, we caught up with 12U Assistant Coach and Walpole LL Historian, Kevin McDonald, to confirm and he had this to say after the game; “I don’t do interviews”.

Thanks, Kevin! A pleasure as always!

The best part of the day was easily the post game. Over 100 parents, players and siblings supported each other and celebrated at the complex afterward. I challenge anyone to find me a better organization. You can’t.

Walpole Little League’s Summer Baseball Program is off to a great start.

In Westwoods Reilly Tournament this weekend, the Fannon 10s and the Pastor 12s took home some hardware winning the championship in their divisions.

Congratulations to both teams for starting out the summer season in decisive fashion!

Let this serve as a reminder to all parents that if you love your children, you should share their journey with us. If you’re going to skip the beach for the diamond, you might as well make sure the world knows!

Not sure if you’ve heard of the Harrington kid before, but after completing his Junior season, he’s committed to continue his baseball career at UMass Lowell.

In the crazy world of NIL deals, rumor has it that he signed shortly after his father ‘purchased’ a brand new Toro push lawnmower with a 19” deck.

Congrats Shane! If it weren’t for Walpole Little League, who knows where you’d be!!

Our 2026 Season is officially in the books! What a great way to cap off the year with the As making an improbable run in the playoffs, the Rays going undefeated, and the Marlins finishing on top in the Minors.

This isn’t goodbye though as we have an amazing number of athletes continuing their season in our summer ball program. We can’t be at every game so share your journey with us along the way and tag us in any posts so we can follow all of our teams having some fun and winning some games!

Editors Note: Earlier in the season, I may have referred to A’s Head Coach, Mike Schlittler, as one of the most average coaches in Little League history. Although I still believe this to be true, he is now a champion so I do feel that a public apology is in order.

I hope he gets one because I will absolutely never apologize for that comment! His son Jake and his teammates carried Mike on their back.

Thank you to all the Coaches who volunteer their time to make every season a success. We appreciate all the hard work you invest in helping ensure this a top notch program we can all be proud of.

From Walpole Little League to the Division 1 State Championship! ⚾🏆

Former WLL standouts Kyle Bongette and Jacoby Hogencamp, now juniors at Catholic Memorial, will take the field in the MIAA Division 1 State Championship.

These two teammates began their baseball journey together in Walpole Little League. Today, Kyle wears #27 and has developed into a standout shortstop, while Jacoby, now #17, has made the transition from catcher to pitcher for the Knights.
Regardless of the outcome of the championship game, these young men are a tremendous example of what dedication, hard work, and a love for the game can accomplish. Their journey is a reminder to every current WLL player that the memories, friendships, and lessons learned on our fields can last a lifetime.

Good luck, Kyle and Jacoby! The entire Walpole Little League community is proud of you both. 💙🧡⚾

We also have a clip of his huge catch in the 5th inning to end a big rally by the Blue Jays. I attached a clip because not only was it a great catch, it was another great ‘Little League Moment’ down West St as you watch his teammates rally around him and celebrate.
