We were very lucky to have Division 1 Track & Field Star, Amari Mow (Marquette University) come speak to our campers this week.

Amari is a true example of what it looks like to compete at a high level. A three-sport athlete who has excelled in football, basketball, and track & field, he showed our campers that success does not come from talent alone. It comes from discipline, hard work, commitment, and the people you surround yourself with.

His message was bigger than sports.

It was about believing in yourself, staying focused, respecting the work, and understanding that community matters. For our campers to hear from someone who has competed and succeeded across multiple sports was powerful.

Thank you, Amari, for taking the time to speak life into our kids and be part of the Watch City Program family.

Moments like this matter.

Session 2 Recap

Day 4 was about finishing the week the right way.

Our campers came in with energy, effort, and pride. From conditioning to individual work to competition periods, they continued to show growth, confidence, and a better understanding of the game.

A special thank you to Samuel Torres of Big Dawg Sports Cards for coming through, giving out sports cards to the campers, and helping us recognize our Camper of the Day and Camper of the Week award winners. Moments like that help make camp special and give our athletes something to remember beyond the field.

Session 2 was more than just camp. It was preparation for flag and tackle preseason, a chance to learn the game, and an opportunity for our athletes to build discipline, leadership, and belief in themselves.

We are proud of the work this group put in all week.

Learn the game.
Compete safely.
Build confidence.
Leave better than you came in.
