Tough one to end the season.
The 7th seed MA Watch City Program 14U lost our first-round playoff game to the 2nd seed CT Bell City Broncos, 28-0.
It was a battle early, with Bell City leading just 6-0 at halftime. Bell City did a great job controlling the line of scrimmage with the run game and opening up their passing game in the second half.
We are sad that this season is over, but this is not the end of the road.
There is still plenty of football ahead for these young men. This season was the foundation. The lessons, the adversity, the brotherhood, and the culture we continue to build will carry forward.
Thank you to our players, parents, coaches, and everyone who supported our first 14U spring season.
We will learn. We will grow. We will be back.

π WATCH CITY LEGACY | PLAYOFF WEEK π
This week, as we prepare for Round 1 of the playoffs, we recognize Ed Logue. A Watch City native who took his football journey from Watch City to Boston College.
At 6-foot-3, 280 pounds, Logue played offensive tackle for the Eagles from 1974β1978, anchoring the offensive line during a tough era of Division I football under head coach Joe Yukica.
During the 1976 season, Logue helped protect the offense and open lanes for a Boston College team that finished 8β3 and earned one of the biggest wins in program history, an upset over No. 7 Texas.
After graduating from Boston College with a degree in Education, Ed Logue moved away from football and transitioned into a successful corporate career in industrial sales and management. He later completed executive education programs at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and currently serves as an Executive Vice President of Sales in the packaging industry based out of the Greater Boston area.
For our athletes, Ed Logueβs story is a reminder that football can build more than players. It can build leaders, professionals, and men prepared for life beyond the game.
Now it is playoff week.
Round 1 is here.
The work matters.
The preparation matters.
The moment matters.
Respect the legacy.
Represent Watch City Program
Keep building your name.
