Come out and support the Next Step Dance Company in their first annual showcase! This student run fundraiser will showcase all of our company solos, duos, trios and group routines from this season along with student choreography created and performed by our company members. General Admission $10 SBS Students $5 We hope to see you there and thank you for your support!

Wasn't able to capture the first shift of participants but a special thank you to everyone who helped make our NSDC car wash fundraiser a success! Thank you Nick Woodside and Celeste Woodside for the use of your family gas station to host this event! Dads thank you for spending a part of your Father's Day helping us out and the moms who organized and chaperoned throughout the day! This team rocks! I can't wait for Disney!!

Pearl Street Studios with Next Step Dance Company

I had the privilege of observing NSDC dancers last week and this week and I am super proud of all they have endured and accomplished. Just two more days of intensive girls! Whoo hoo.....

Demetra and I invited some of the very best dance professionals in the Greater Boston Area to teach at our Summer Intensive Program and our dancers have been working hard. I hope they have enjoyed it. I also hope they are a little sore from all the stretching and technique. Special thanks to Demetra Chastang, Wendy O'Byrne Melanie Capalbo, Tony Tucker, Janelle Gilchrist, Dana Dwyer, Macayla Rooney, Axel Lopez, Junior Salvador, Deirdre Milionis and Amy Hrobak. who shared their love for dancing, health and fitness with all of us.

Bring on some good energy this week! Competition Weekend Ahead!

It's time! Competition weekend. There's a slight change to tomorrow's (Friday 3/6) rehearsal. The students will not be wearing their costumes during rehearsal. However, they MUST bring every costume and all shoes!

All costumes must be on hangers and in the NSDC Company Garment bags. No costumes should be packed in the duffle bags. Please be sure all accessories and shoes are appropriately packed in the BLACK duffle bags. NO BLUE BAGS!!!

We will run a check on all costumes to be sure every student has all pieces. We recommend getting Zip-lock Gallon storage bags to hold accessories and putting them on the hanger with each costume. Please include all required undergarments - clear strap cami's, clear strap bras, tights. Basically the bags should be packed to go.

Every student should arrive in regular dance attire - in the event we need them to put costumes on over their leotard.

4:00 - 6:00 Full Company Rehearsal
6:00 - 6:45 Parent / Dancer Session
6:45 - 8:30 Solos, Duos, Trios - may leave as you finish.

Saturday: FULL NSDC GEAR: Black garment bags, black duffle bags, black sweatpants, white Sponsor Shirt, Blue jacket.

We are looking forward to a great weekend - ladies remember to relax, apply your corrections and bring your biggest smile!

Springfield Dance convention NSDC Turning It Up!!

What's brewing at NSDC?? Our new Companies are already working on brand new routines for their first performance opportunity!

NSDC will be preforming Center Court at TD Garden November 17th before the Boston Celtics take the court against the Phoenix Suns!

Come check them out at Waltham Day Saturday, September 21st as well!
