Lunar Landing Disc Golf Course

Hole 6 has a new addition. 6 long is installed we will have some grabbers to retrieve your discs tomorrow. For now use a couple sticks.

Come on out and have some fun this evening. We will be playing 6 new basket locations.

Lunar Landing took minimal wind damage. Most large debris has been cleared, and the course is in good condition.
The drainage project last year has greatly improved the water issue, and muddy areas are drying much quicker.
Next projects: install remaining baskets, install more bridges, line the new drainage ditches with rock, and redo all signage.

Also on our radar:
1. Work with Wapakoneta City School to start a disc golf club - a first in the region.
2. Host a tournament this year.

All of these upgrades cost a lot of money and time, so we will continue working with local businesses, municipalities and grantors to help with funding.

Forestry work is finished for all the new basket locations. Every hole will have 2 baskets when we’re finished, for a total of 36 locations.

After discussions with the Wapakoneta City Schools, disc golf will be restricted to Front 9 only during school hours.
This policy is to satisfy our top priority- safety of the children.
We sincerely appreciate this compromise as a safe alternative to closing the course.
Please respect this new school hours play and help make others aware of the policy.

Don't forget your glow discs for the last few holes, which will probably be in the dark. This Tuesday's round will be our final one with sunlight until spring. The buy-in is $10. See you there.
