OPENINGS FOR 12U, 14U, 16U, 18U squads.

The organization once again represented well in Sylvania’s beautiful park facility this past hot weekend. Ultra Ice took up 3 squads (12,14,16s) and left with hardware, dust and memories! Watching these girls live, grow and love through this sport while praising God for the opportunity to gather as families and sisters for life.

What a fantastic weekend at our first tournament in Maumee! It was a USA-sanctioned state qualifier with a TON of talented teams and a 6 game guarantee. With this said, our 12’s and 14’s came for experience and growth - and BOY did they grow, not only in the sport, but in new forged friendships, sisterhood chemistry and joy. Hats off to Coaches Hipsher and Larison for steering their ships in the right Ultra direction. I know great things are about to happen to these well-led squads!

Our experienced 18U squad came with mission and succeeded!!! Self-proclaimed that we are a SUNDAY team, that they were !!!! Run-ruled a team with solid hitting, a 2-run bomb by Reese Hoskins and a GRAND SLAM by Alivia Heckman pushed us into the quarter finals! Battled through extra innings in the semis behind our lefty closer Ryleigh Berg to protect our tight lead led by ANOTHER yard ball by Reese in the last inning. Then, the grand finale….yes, extra innings !!! Reese Hoskins was on point all day on the mound, Kylie Behr was a human vacuum cleaner in CF with a cannon of an arm all weekend. Lex Schneider could not miss with her stick driving hit and hit all weekend!!! I could go on and on ….. but in the end, Berg closed us out once again and……CHAMPIONS!

First of many for this organization. It’s going to be a GREAT summer !

Attention 14U players. Due to recent injuries, the Ultra Ice squad has TWO spots open for 5 tourneys this summer. PM me for details and tryout information. First tourney is June 19-21.
