Because I caught a bluegill when I was 4. 🎣

One little fish.

One cheap rod.

One proud smile.

That's all it took.

Now there's a kayak loaded with enough gear to survive a week on the water.

Tackle boxes that barely close.

More rods than any reasonable person needs.

Lures tucked into every compartment imaginable.

A truck that somehow always smells a little like fish.

And a calendar that's secretly built around fishing trips.

People ask how it got this bad.

The truth is...

It never got bad.

It got better.

Every tackle box has a story.

Every scratch on the kayak came from another adventure.

Every new lure carries the hope that the next cast might become the next great memory.

It's funny how one tiny bluegill can quietly shape the rest of your life.

And honestly...

I'd do it all over again.
