Bottom Of The Lineup Carries Revoluton 18U Wood 18U Past Ascent Athlete 18U WEBSTER

The bottom of the lineup helped Revoluton 18U Wood 18U capture a 13-2 victory over Ascent Athlete 18U WEBSTER on Friday at 145 E Pumping Station Rd. Danielle Brasch, Angie Colegreco, and Molly Alff combined for five of the team's 10 hits in the victory. They scored one run and drove in five.

Revoluton 18U Wood 18U won thanks in part to nine runs in the fourth inning. Aimee Benjamin drew a walk, scoring one run, an error scored two runs, Rylie Fitzsimmons singled, scoring one run, Faith Ortman singled, scoring two runs, Alff singled, scoring two runs, and Brasch singled, scoring one run.

Revoluton 18U Wood 18U opened the scoring in the top of the second thanks to two singles. Revoluton 18U Wood 18U first got on the board when Colegreco singled, scoring one run.

A sacrifice fly by Fitzsimmons extended the Revoluton 18U Wood 18U lead to 4-0 in the top of the third inning.

Fitzsimmons began the game for Revoluton 18U Wood 18U. The righty surrendered six hits and two runs (one earned) over four innings, striking out one and walking none. Avery Burghart 2027 stepped in the circle first for Ascent Athlete 18U WEBSTER. The starter surrendered seven hits and 11 runs (two earned) over three and two-thirds innings, striking out one and walking five.

Revoluton 18U Wood 18U tallied 10 hits in the game. Sammi Wood, Brasch, and Colegreco each collected two hits for Revoluton 18U Wood 18U. Brasch, Fitzsimmons, Ortman, and Alff each drove in two runs for Revoluton 18U Wood 18U. Benjamin led Revoluton 18U Wood 18U with two walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, amassing six walks for the game.

Valerie Wilkins 2027, Keira Nelson 2026, Brooklyn Bryant 2027, Kristina Proios 2028, Kailey Smith 2027, and Kylie Becker 2026 each collected one hit for Ascent Athlete 18U WEBSTER. Smith 2027 led Ascent Athlete 18U WEBSTER with one run batted in. The center fielder went 1-for-2 on the day.

Revoluton 18U Wood 18U will travel to Valley Venom 18U for their next game on Friday.

Sammi Wood drove in four runs on three hits to lead Revoluton 18U Wood 18U past North Penn Eclipse 18U 22-0 on Friday at 145 E Pumping Station Rd. Wood singled in the fourth inning, scoring two runs, and tripled in the second inning, scoring one.

Revoluton 18U Wood 18U won thanks in part to 13 runs in the fourth inning. Molly Alff drew a walk, scoring one run, Danielle Brasch doubled, scoring two runs, Wood singled, scoring two runs, Avery Martini singled, scoring two runs, Harper Dotterer induced Faith Ortman to hit into a fielder's choice, but two runs scored, Alff singled, scoring one run, Brasch singled, scoring one run, an error scored one run, and Wood grounded out, scoring one run.

Revoluton 18U Wood 18U got on the board in the top of the first inning after an error scored two runs, Ortman doubled, scoring two runs, and Alff doubled, scoring one run.

Revoluton 18U Wood 18U added to their early lead in the top of the second inning when Wood tripled, scoring one run, and an error scored two runs.

A walk by Breanna Wood extended the Revoluton 18U Wood 18U lead to 9-0 in the top of the third inning.

Wood opened the game for Revoluton 18U Wood 18U. The starter allowed zero hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out two and walking two. Kerry McCullagh started the game for North Penn Eclipse 18U. The starter allowed three hits and five runs (three earned) over one inning, striking out none and walking two.

Revoluton 18U Wood 18U tallied 11 hits in the game. Brasch and Alff each collected multiple hits for Revoluton 18U Wood 18U. Wood led Revoluton 18U Wood 18U with three walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, accumulating 11 walks for the game. Wood stole two bases. Revoluton 18U Wood 18U were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Rylie Fitzsimmons made the most plays with five.

Ava Nalis stole two bases.
