Hard work truly does pay off. You can do anything you put your mind to. Never be afraid to follow your dreams!

We can't believe it's time already...introducing our 2026 SENIOR SPOTLIGHTS as we count down to our recital next weekend!
First up, the kind, radiant and talented JILLIANNE.
⭐️High School: CB South
⭐️My Future Plans: Major in Chemical Engineering at University of Pittsburgh
⭐️When I'm not at dance I'm: out with friends, practicing piano, or working
⭐️Fun fact about me: I used to do ballroom dancing in Philly before joining BDC
⭐️Favorite BDC memory: Nationals at Kalahari
⭐️Advice to younger dancers: To the younger dancers, don’t compare your journey to anyone else’s. Everyone grows at different times, and some of your biggest improvements will happen when you least expect it. Train hard and don’t be afraid to mess up because that’s honestly how you learn the most. Also, enjoy every second of it. These dance years go by way faster than you think, so appreciate the other dancers and dedicated teachers around you and make the most of every class and performance!
