Today, we mourn the loss of a dear friend and longtime member of our Southern Landings family, JD Sessums.

JD was more than a golfer at our club. His friendship, smile, stories, and love for the game touched so many who had the privilege of knowing him. The course won't be quite the same without seeing JD out enjoying a round and sharing time with friends.

We are grateful for the memories, laughter, and friendships he leaves behind. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time.

JD, you will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all of us at Southern Landings.

The Southern Landings Pool officially opens this Saturday and we’re ready for a great summer!

Please remember the pool is Members Only, but we do have a limited number of Pool Only Memberships available. Stop by the Pro Shop for details before spots fill up.

We are also currently looking for a Pool Monitor for the summer season. If interested, please see the Pro Shop for more information.

We’re gearing up for an amazing season at Southern Landings Golf Club, and we’re so excited to welcome back returning players AND see so many new faces joining us this year!

This year we will be introducing U17 division.

PGA Junior League is a great experience with a fun, team-focused format and light competition mixed in. Practices will begin in May. U13 will have matches against Brickyard in June and July. U17 match scheduling will be finalized once registration is complete.

U13: 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM
U17: 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Additional practices will be added in June and July to align with match dates.

If you are new to the program or returning, please stop by the pro shop or call 478-923-5222 and ask for Rich. A registration code is required, as I like to speak with parents first to ensure your junior is ready for the league. If your junior is a beginner, our summer junior camps are the best place to start. This helps ensure every player is placed in the right environment for a positive experience.
