๐Ÿ Weedsport Speedway Recap ๐Ÿ

A solid night at Weedsport Speedway! We went out in Group 1 and qualified 2nd in our group, putting us on the outside pole for Heat 1. We had a strong heat race and finished 2nd, sending us to the redraw where we pulled 4th.

We started the feature strong, gaining a few positions early, but a few rough laps sent us back to 9th. We were able to recover and work our way back to a 5th-place finish.

Weโ€™re happy with the recovery and to come home with another solid finish. Thank you to everyone who continues to support us, and to all of our sponsors who make this possible!

๐ŸŒง๏ธ TONIGHTโ€™S RACING HAS BEEN CANCELED โ€” LAND OF LEGENDS RACEWAY ๐ŸŒง๏ธ

Unfortunately, Mother Nature has won this one.

A torrential downpour late this morning dropped a tremendous amount of rain in a very short period of time, causing havoc on the racetrack and throughout the facility.

At this point, we would need plenty of sunshine and a lot of wind to have any chance of getting everything dried out and ready for tonight. While the weather predictions continue to be all over the place, another wave of rain appears likely between 1:00 and 3:00 PM.

Our grounds, pit area, and spectator parking simply cannot take on any more water. With that in mind, we are forced to cancel tonightโ€™s racing program at Land of Legends Raceway.

We are extremely disappointed. We wanted to race just as badly as everyone wanted to be here, but the amount of water we received has left us with no other option.

The Empire Street Stock Series will now take place as part of the Top Gun Shootout event on Friday September 18th. Also rescheduled will be the Scoppo Special for Saturday August 29th.

Thank you to our race teams, fans, employees, sponsors, and everyone who continues to support Land of Legends Raceway. Itโ€™s been a trying year and we thank you for sticking with us.
