Kinzua Wrestling Club

Kinzua Youth Development Center recently hosted a successful four-day wrestling camp for youth ages 4–12. The camp provided a fun, supportive, and educational environment where young athletes could learn the fundamentals of wrestling while building confidence, discipline, and teamwork skills.

This was a wonderful opportunity for children who may be unsure about joining the sport to gain valuable exposure to wrestling and experience firsthand what makes it such a rewarding activity. We are grateful to all the coaches, volunteers, parents, and participants who helped make this camp a success.

We look forward to continuing to provide opportunities that encourage youth development, healthy competition, and personal growth within our community.

Kinzua Youth Development Center, home of KWC, hosted an incredible outdoor team camp focused on hard work, mental toughness, teamwork, and a love for the outdoors.

We were proud to have athletes from Warren Wrestling, Eisenhower Knights Wrestling,Central dauphin East, and Creek Style Wrestling Club join us for this experience. From carrying logs through the woods to building camaraderie around the campfire, these young men challenged themselves and each other every step of the way.

As an added bonus, our athletes had the opportunity to give back by helping Camp Olmsted install docks. It was a great chance to put teamwork and service into action while making a positive impact on a place that means so much to many campers and families.

Thank you to everyone who participated and made this camp a success. We’re excited about the future because we know one thing:

KWC Girls Wrestling and the combined KWC Boys/Creek Style Wrestling Club team competed at this year’s Nickel City Duels. We faced some tough competition throughout the event, but our wrestlers battled hard, showed great determination, and represented their teams with pride. Every match was an opportunity to learn, grow, and improve.

As Vince Lombardi said, “The man on top of the mountain didn’t fall there.” Success isn’t given—it’s earned through hard work, dedication, and perseverance. We’re proud of the effort our athletes put forth and excited to keep climbing. 💪🤼‍♀️🤼‍♂️

The day's results were 2-1, having beaten two tough teams and earned a spot in the gold pool for tomorrow's events! Kinzua Youth Development Center back at it tomorrow at 8:00 am!
