Caleb Gardner Makes College Commitment
Warren Harding Raiders’ senior Caleb Gardner recently announced his commitment to attend college and play soccer for the Lake Erie College Storm in Painesville, Ohio. The First Team All District and All American Conference standout set a single season school record for goals in a season (28) in 2023 and also added four assists.
Caleb, the son of Adam and Lisa Gardner, plans to study Sports Management/Administration when he gets to Painesville in the fall.
Congratulations Caleb! Your Raiders Soccer Family wishes you all the best. We are extremely proud of you.

Thank You…It’s Been a Blast!
After the 2017 Warren Harding Raiders boys’ soccer season, I approached Head Coach Tilden Tatebe about promoting the soccer program, via social media, by putting together a page. The 2018 campaign was my oldest son’s junior season and the participation numbers were beginning to shrink in the program. Other Harding programs, football and basketball in particular, receive the bulk of the support and publicity in the community. Parents and children in the Warren City Schools needed to become aware that there was another sport in the fall, other than football, where they could compete and be a part of a team. After getting Coach Tilden’s blessing, this page was born. Little did I know it would become a labor of love for six years and ignite a fire for writing that I did not know I had.
Unfortunately, with my youngest son completing his senior season in October, and his graduation in May, the time has come to “retire” the page. With one son graduating from college and one from high school in May, I will not be able to commit myself to attending every pre-season friendly and regular season match in the future, which is required to give this page the dedication and attention it deserves. I will keep the page active so the parents and kids can look back and relive their memories if they so choose. However, there will be no further posts or updates provided from this point forward.
On behalf of Coach Tatebe and the players, thank you for your support of the program and this page. I received many thanks and compliments on the page over the years so I am glad everyone enjoyed it, even if some match summaries were less than complimentary. I hope to see some of you at a Mollenkopf Stadium match in the future.
To the youth of Warren, soccer is a beautiful game that can take you to places beyond Warren. Don’t be fooled into thinking that football is the only sport that can take you places after high school.
As always, Go Raiders!
Sincerely,
Chris Knupp

Assistance Needed for Raider Player
During the Warren Harding Raiders’ victory over the Ursuline Fighting Irish on October 3, the insulin pump of Harding’s junior defender Mason Bitner, who battles diabetes, was taken out of the Raiders’ dressing room. Unfortunately, insurance will not pay for a replacement until 2026. The lack of a pump has led to struggles for Mason to keep his sugar levels under control. His overall health is at risk.
A Go Fund Me account has been set up to assist the Bitner’s in helping secure a new pump for Mason. If you can, please find it in your heart to assist them.
Replace Mason Bitner’s Insulin Pump, organized by Kenneth Whitfield
Hi, my name is Ken Whitfield and I’m asking for your help today for a young man… Kenneth Whitfield needs your support for Replace Mason Bitner’s Insulin Pump
