Update from Cassie about Scott’s son-in-law:

I don’t really know how else to say this other than to just say it.

At this point, there isn’t a positive update to share about Topher. He is not responsive, and his brain has suffered significant damage.

As a family, we are trying to process an impossible reality while also figuring out what the coming days look like. Right now, our focus is simply on Topher—making sure he is comfortable, surrounded by love, and cared for.

We know so many people love Topher and care about our family, and we are incredibly grateful for all of the love, prayers, and support we have received. Right now, though, we kindly ask that you please try to refrain from reaching out to us individually for updates or responses. We simply don’t have the capacity to respond to messages or answer questions right now. Please know that your love and support are felt, even when we aren’t able to respond.

We will share updates when and if we are able. For now, please continue to keep Topher and our family in your thoughts and give us the time and space we need to be together. ❤️

Scotts son-in-law, Topher, was in a severe accident and is currently in the ICU fighting a traumatic brain injury.

Topher is a devoted husband and father two young daughters (ages 11 and 6). With Topher unable to work and Scott’s daughter, Cassie, by his side at the hospital, a GoFundMe page was created to help cover emergency ICU bills and daily living expenses for his family.

We have a new cardboard recycle program at woods and meadow sporting clays range. Bow, the Cocker doing his part to shred the cardboard down. I think we need to start doing some pheasant hunting to get a little of the wahoo out of the Cocker.

With the end of our late summer league, next week we aren’t shooting in the evenings anymore. In September our shooting hours are 8am to last squads out at 4pm due to our deer hunting season starting. It’s been a great summer of shooting. Hard to believe September is here next week already!

There’s a crisp bite in the morning air lately, and that extra chill can only mean one thing—fall is right around the corner! 🍂🌾

Those cool, misty mornings always bring back memories of walking the fields, frost crunching underfoot, and waiting for a ringneck pheasant to flush out of the cover. Nothing quite matches the rush of a rooster taking flight against an autumn sky.
